I have had a long love interest in Fashion. I started the beginning of my career as a buyer for Montgomery Wards. I later broadened my horizons at Harley Davidson and then moved on to working for a Volvo manufacturer, still following that passion for fashion. Because of the different jobs, I have worked at, I have had the blessing of covering many avenues of fashion. My favorite you ask? I absolutely love women’s clothes, accessories, and gifts. There’s just something about a smile after finding that perfect top to go with those boots… Or maybe it’s the little joy I get after finding an amazing handbag? Either way, being a buyer has always been my passion. It’s what I love.

On June 15, 2013, with the support of my loving husband, I opened The Little Pink Shop. I knew pink had to be in the name, who doesn’t love pink? When I found the building that I would call home the name came to me. It was only a tiny 300 sq. ft. room in the basement of an old historic courthouse right in the heart of Crown Point, Indiana. It was small and it needed some work, but I saw the potential. I settled here and the rest is history. I became Kim, the owner of The Little Pink Shop.

I love going to various trade shows looking for the most unique product for my customers. It has become an annual trip that I enjoy with my mom. Not only is it fun for me, but it also provides me with the ability to see the product in person so I can guarantee you’ll buy something you will love.
